The 13th “Filming Taipei” Screenplay Competition is now open!

I. To discover emerging screenwriters and encourage the creation of screenplays based on the scenery and culture of Taipei City, the Taipei Film Commission of the Taipei Culture Foundation is organizing the 13th “Filming Taipei” Screenplay Competition. Application is open globally.

II. In addition to the prize money and certificates in English and Chinese, the winners of this competition will also receive collaboration opportunities and marketing resource sponsorship from the Taipei Culture Foundation if their films are produced.

III. Prize Categories and Amounts:

• 1. Gold Screenplay Award: One first place winner, award amount of NT$400,000 and a certificate in English and Chinese.
  2. Silver Screenplay Award: One second place winner, award amount of NT$150,000 and a certificate in English and Chinese.
  3. Bronze Screenplay Award: One third place winner, award amount of NT$50,000 and a certificate in English and Chinese.

IV. The application period starts from May 3, 2021 and ends on July 2, 2021 (based on postmarked date).
