Pinglin Forest Park, which was formerly Pinglin Military Camp under the Ministry of National Defense, retains hundreds of native trees and a large area of turf, and functions as both an ecological flood retention area and forest leisure area. The area includes a pond, a pallet walkway, a children’s play area, a flat and spacious walkway around the lake, as well as a white fan-shaped outdoor amphitheater.
