Wen-Hsin Forest Park

Verdant greenery offering scenic settings

Located in Nantun District, Taichung’s Wen-Hsin Forest Park, with a total area of 8.86 hectares, is a park shaped by “nature”. The park is designed with natural rocks, ecosystems, planting, and wood, and combines theatrical and musical performances with the natural environment.
The park’s Fulfillment Amphitheatre with a capacity of 15,000 people, has become one of the major cultural and leisure multi-purpose public spaces in Taichung and also an important venue for performing arts and cultural events in Taichung.

The park has a three-level trail system, including the Leisure Park Trail, the Happy Cycling Trail, and the Eco-Adventure Trail, which connects the recreation areas, skating plaza, viewing areas, lawn areas, and parking lot.
More than 60 kinds of trees, shrubs, and grasses with distinctive features present different looks with the change of seasons. During the chinaberry flowering season from March to April, the tunnel of pale purple chinaberry flowers forms an extremely romantic setting.
