It is estimated that the village was built in the 18th century and is located in the southern foothills of the Dadu Mountain, where there is not much rainfall and the terrain is made up of red soil. A spring has gushed out due to a fault line, resulting in three ancient wells that have preserved the scenery of a farming village from the bygone days. There are three century-old frangipani trees in front of the land god temple.

Scenes from the films “It Takes Two to Tango” and “Back to the Good Times”, as well as the TV series “A Boy Name Flora A” were shot here.
