Dali Industrial Zone Rainwater Drainage

  • Category: Dali Districts/Seaside and Waterway
  • Address: Dali District, Taichung City

The rainwater drainage system in the Dali Industrial Zone primarily consists of three drainage mainlines, which are buried under Industrial Road and Industrial 20th Road, namely the first, second, and third underground channels, flowing towards the Niujiaokeng ditch by gravity. These underground channels are structured as rectangular box culverts, made of reinforced concrete (RC), with a total length of approximately 1,861.96 meters. The planning of the rainwater drainage system in this area was completed in the 67th year of the Republic of China, but with the recent frequency of extreme rainfall events, the city's Water Resources Bureau has begun reviewing the planning to enhance the area's flood prevention capacity.Part of the text is sourced from the Taichung City Zhengfu Global Information Network.
