The Taichung Japanese School was established in 1976 as an international school for the children of Japanese families residing in Taiwan. It follows the Japanese formal education system and curriculum, aligning with Japan's educational standards. The campus is located in the Daya District of Taichung City, featuring comprehensive teaching facilities and a warm learning environment. The teachers are dispatched from Japan, with a strong emphasis on language, culture, character, and diverse development. Currently, there are over a hundred students from elementary to junior high school, dedicated to providing children with a stable and quality learning experience. In addition to classroom learning, the school actively participates in local cultural activities and municipal exchanges, serving as an important bridge connecting the Japanese expatriate community with the Taiwanese community. As the only Japanese school in the Taichung area, the Taichung Japanese School not only serves an educational purpose but also plays a crucial role in cultural exchanges between Japan and Taiwan.
