Taichung Aquarium

The Taichung Aquarium is a prominent coastal landmark whose ship-like exterior, resembling a vessel at Taichung Port, was inspired by the natural rock formations of Mount Lishan. This design integrates the city's unique hydrological and ecological features into its architecture.

The five-story facility is curated around the central theme, "From Taichung Rivers to the Oceans of the World." By employing diverse displays and interactive elements, the aquarium aims to redefine public perception of water ecology. Across its eight exhibition zones, the venue offers immersive experiences and varied viewing angles that transcend traditional aquarium boundaries, offering visitors a truly seamless connection with marine life.
