Inflorescence takes its name from the classical Chinese poem “Resting swallows return to the quiet eaves, while falling flowers settle gently in the tranquil courtyard.” Located in the mountains of Xinshe District, Taichung, at an elevation of approximately 465 meters, it is a Japanese-style garden retreat characterized by a sense of Zen and the beauty of the changing seasons. Centered around private Japanese-style cuisine, the space combines natural landscapes with dining areas to create a peaceful atmosphere away from the bustle of the city, allowing visitors to experience a sense of tranquility and spaciousness amid the surrounding mountains.

The architecture incorporates natural materials such as wood, stone, bamboo, and earth, complemented by carefully designed Japanese-style gardens and refined spatial details. The result is a simple yet elegant visual aesthetic. As the wind, light and shadows, mist, and evening light change throughout the day and across the seasons, the space takes on different moods and atmospheres. It is suitable for filming scenes featuring Japanese gardens, mountain residences, traditional Japanese dining spaces, tranquil gatherings, and stories centered around nature and local culture.
