Taichung International Airport

It was built in 1936 and has been expanded several times. It was once a military airport for the Air Force and the U.S. Army stationed in Taiwan, occupying an area of about 1,800 hectares. It is currently the only international airport in Central Taiwan, and is also a joint-use military and civilian airport. Routes include domestic routes and cross-strait routes, while the operating hours are 06:00-23:00.
