Shin Sei Green Waterway

The Green River in Central District was formerly called “Shin Sei River” and renamed in 1912. It was an important river under the “Little Kyoto” project for Taichung during the Japanese colonial period, and the small Shin Sei Bridge (now Zhongshan Green Bridge) was one of the eight major night scenes in Taichung at that time.
