The former Taichung-C.C.K (Hsiang Yuen Aerospace Learning Zone) was designed for the development of defense technology and aerospace industry. In response to the needs of foreign consultants, customer representatives, and family members during the development and production of the IDF AIDC F-CK-1 Ching-Kuo Indigenous Defense Fighter. A lifestyle campus was planned and constructed in the Texan architectural style. It also includes a villa, a clubhouse, and a condominium building for foreign defense technology professionals and their families to move in and enjoy a leisurely lifestyle as if they were in the United States. After the successful completion of the R&D and manufacturing of the Indigenous Defense Fighter, the foreign defense technology professionals living the park moved back to their home countries, and the park passed into self-operation since then.
Currently, the park is the largest in Taiwan with an area of 11.6 hectares, with a capacity of 700 people, elegant scenery, and convenient transportation.
