New international landmark theater
The National Taichung Theater, which is known as one of the nine new landmarks of the world, was designed by Japanese architect Toyo Ito. The design of the interior space was based on the concept of “architecture that can be listened to”. The rounded curves, completely free of beams, present a facade of flexibility and brimming vitality. There is an outdoor theater and a sky garden, which is a new highlight of the performing arts.
