“Niumatou” was the old name of Qingshui District. The park has preserved Neolithic sites and antiquities for educational displays. The location was also the site of the Shimizu Shrine during the Japanese rule (only the stone lion and a few remnants remain), and the military camp after the Retrocession, where the military dormitories and command platform still remain to serve as legacy.
