Yide Mansion

Yide Mansion (originally “Former Residence of Lin Mao-Yang”), has been designated as a historical building by the Taichung City Government. It was built in the 1920s as a result of the marriage between the Lin and Lai families in Taichung. It has retained the unique architectural style of the Japanese rule period and has experienced the bustle of the military dependent village era, gradually becoming “Yide Mansion”. After the restoration was completed in 2015, the building is open to the public, and it is also a good choice for film crews to shoot scenes.
