Dali Art Plaza

“Dali Art Plaza” is located inside “Taichung Software Park”, a major national construction project of the Ministry of Economic Affairs, with “cultural creativity” and “cultural arts” as the core industries of the park. The park is in line with the national project “Creative Taiwan - Development of Cultural Creative Industries”, to enhance the international competitiveness of Taiwan’s art and cultural creative industries. It is hoped that Taichung Software Park can become a center of convergence for art and cultural creative industries in the Asia-Pacific region.
“Dali Art Plaza” regularly holds the “A&C Expo Taiwan” during the Lunar New Year period, showcasing exhibitions of famous artists from home and abroad, live concerts, international auctions, art and creative forums, international art villages, and other activities such as large-scale performances, symposiums, art film exhibitions, handicraft workshops, and performance competitions. The Plaza also features branded dining options, souvenirs, cultural creative products, and premium crafts. The Plaza attracts art professionals, art and culture fans, and local and overseas tourists, which can help enhance the competitiveness of Taiwan’s art and culture creative industries.
The interior space of the park includes a Central Plaza (500 people), the Liuli International Performing Arts Hall (374 seats), large exhibition halls (1488 square meters and 1983 square meters), a business center, and a basement with 800 parking spaces. The Central Plaza and Liuli International Performing Arts Hall use Dolby Atmos, in order to provide every seat and corner with the same auditory experience.
