Go on a romantic journey along the Lovers Wooden Bridge
Shigang Lovers Wooden Bridge is the longest wooden bridge in the Far East, spanning the Shihshuike Creek, and is 40 meters long. It is log bridge built without piers.
Visitors place a lock on the bridge as a testimony of the steadfastness of love, which makes the story of the setting quite self-explanatory.
Lovers Wooden Bridge is located in the Shihshuike leisure farming area. It includes the largest waterwheel in the country, a flowering plant area, a riverbank observation deck, and a bee ecosystem museum where visitors can learn about the honey harvesting process.
Inside the area, there is a hiking trail that passes through the sacred tree park, the King of Trees Tourism Garden, and the Porters’ Ancient Trail.
On the one side of the Lovers Wooden Bridge, there is a blue and white European-style triangular wooden building, where the bright colors are reminiscent of those found in Greece.
