Founded in 1945, the National Taiwan Symphony Orchestra is located in Wufeng District, Taichung. It has its own concert hall, large and small rehearsal rooms, and is a full-scale music organization with complete range of facilities and infrastructure.
The concert hall is a medium-sized performance venue with 546 fixed seats and 6 seats for wheelchair spectators, totaling 552 seats. There are also professional recording rooms and control rooms to present the best sound and live effect of the concert. It is generally used as a venue for orchestra and opera practice, and for promoting music education, and it can also be rented out to performing arts groups. The art ceramic wall on the front outer wall of the concert hall is one of the largest public artworks in Taiwan. The venue offers a high-quality setting to shoot stage and performance-related scenes.
