Lishui Fishing Harbor

The sunset glow spills over the horizon.

Originally a century-old fishing port, Lishui Fishing Harbor has been transformed with the addition of a Greek-style observation platform, featuring blue and white decor. This repurposed site, along with nearby bicycle and walking paths, has become a prime location in Taichung for newlyweds to take wedding photos, enjoy sunset views, and go birdwatching or cycling by the sea. 

From October to May, the area is a popular birdwatching destination, offering the opportunity to observe a variety of bird species. As evening approaches, the natural beauty of the sunset rivals that of the Gaomei Wetlands. The charming scenery attracts many outdoor photography enthusiasts who come here to capture stunning shots and enjoy a relaxing day.
