The Central Taiwan Film Studios

In an area of 3.12 ha, there are the Life of Pi Wave Tank, a 7-meter-deep pool, three sound stages with 16-meter-high ceilings, and 1.1 ha of outdoor space, where temporary sets could be built. They will be the largest sound stages in Taiwan.
The Central Taiwan Film Studios are constructed by the Taichung City Government and operated by by Central Motion Picture Corp. (CMPC). The collaboration endows it with the stability of a government agency and the professional management of commercial film studios.
