Jesus Church at Lishan - panoramio

Completed in 1969, li mountain Jesus Church, listed as a historical building by Taichung Municipal Government, is located at the commanding height of li mountain at an altitude of 2011 meters, and is currently the highest church in Taiwan. Gothic architecture, geographical location with a beautiful view of the valley, and special historical value make this "church on the cloud" one of the hot spots of punching cards in li mountain.

The interior decoration of the church is also full of details. The window in front of it has the only dome window in the whole church, representing the hand of prayer. The ceiling is a rare red cypress roof, and the stairs leading to the top floor clock tower are designed with "no handrails" penetration. When sunlight shines through the window, light and shadow create a beautiful scene full of artistic conception here.
