Butter Hotel

  • Category: West Districts/Restaurant and Hotel
  • Address: No. 18, Ln. 217, Minquan Rd., West Dist., Taichung City 403001 , Taiwan

The "BUTTER HOTEL" is a butter-colored building with four floors, each featuring different themed scenes. Although it is called a hotel, it is actually a Taichung branch of the renowned gift and specialty brand "but. Butter Sweets." The exterior is designed to resemble a retro American-style hotel in a butter color.

The basement level, known as the "Cross Stairs Hall," features multiple elevators that lead to various fun scenes such as a moving train and a bathroom. The first floor is designed as a laundry room, with a row of washing machines set up as part of the décor. On the second floor, visitors can explore a surveillance room and artistic guest rooms, where they can peek into the artistic guest rooms through peepholes. One of the doors can be opened to reveal a secret space with a cat-themed courtyard.

The third floor is the "Butter Bathhouse," a free area where visitors can sample butter cakes and purchase souvenirs. The highlight of this area is a pure white elephant dancing in the center of the bathhouse, which is a must-photograph spot for visitors. Each corner is visually stunning, and the unique retro American style makes it a great location for film and photo shoots.
