No. 266-6, Jingwu Road

No. 266-6 Jingwu Road is located in the North District of Taichung. It is an old-style building with a low-key appearance, situated right next to the street. The building is not very wide and has two floors, preserving classic central Taiwan residential elements such as traditional pebbled walls, iron flower windows, rolling iron gates, and balcony awnings. The alley in front of the house is narrow but retains the daily appearance of early residential areas in downtown Taichung. This form of street house is common in the old town and is a reflection of the living space of early citizens of Taichung, witnessing the rhythm of urban transformation from dense living to gradual renewal.
