Opened in 1977 and originally known as the Taichung County Sports Stadium, Fengyuan Stadium is a large athletics facility with a seating capacity of 20,000 spectators. It has hosted major national events such as the 2011 National High School Games and the 2017 National Elementary School Athletics Championships, among other significant national competitions.
