藍色玻璃外觀的市政中心

 

臺中市政府整體以玻璃帷幕包覆，於光線照射下呈現淡藍色晶亮感，建築中央下方鏤空，營造川堂空間並延伸為寬敞的市政廣場，而一樓挑高大廳搭配層層樓梯，展現現代建築的整齊與氣勢，並已吸引電影《菜鳥》等劇組於此取景。

The Taichung City Government is covered with glass curtain, which gives it a light blue crystalline appearance when illuminated by light. The building is hollowed out in the center to create a sense of space and extends into a spacious city hall plaza. The high-ceilinged lobby on the first floor and the staircase on each floor show the neatness and dynamism of modern architecture. Scenes from the film “Maverick” were shot here.
