推測建庄於18世紀，位於大肚山較南段山麓，雨量不多紅壤土質，因斷層湧出泉水，三口古井保存了早期農村的景緻，除此之外，土地公廟前有三棵百年緬梔花(雞蛋花)。
電影《車拼》、《花甲大人轉男孩》以及電視劇《花甲男孩轉大人》劇組曾至此取景。
It is estimated that the village was built in the 18th century and is located in the southern foothills of the Dadu Mountain, where there is not much rainfall and the terrain is made up of red soil. A spring has gushed out due to a fault line, resulting in three ancient wells that have preserved the scenery of a farming village from the bygone days. There are three century-old frangipani trees in front of the land god temple.
